our mission

Here at Pittie in Pink, our mission is to help those who would otherwise be discarded….due simply to their breed, or due to health or behavioral challenges. We liberate dogs from abusive environments, we gather up those who have been abandoned on the streets, and we partner with local animal control facilities to give little souls who have been placed on euthanization lists a chance to live.

Because we strongly believe that no animal should lose a loving home due to temporary hardships faced by their families, we strive to be a resource for our community. We maintain a small food bank so we can help to feed and provide supplies for the animal companions of our neighbors who find themselves navigating through difficult times. As resources allow, we also assist with veterinary care and spay/neuter procedures for those who may be struggling.
